Emergency Communication Center

The Emergency Communication Center was built to serve as a 911-dispatch center for the San Jose police. The facility is a four-level, steel and concrete office and parking structure with precast cladding. The facility was constructed according to stringent seismic standards for essential buildings. The project included the construction of an on-site concrete auto maintenance facility.

TRS performed construction engineering and inspection services for the Center. TRS’ services included structural and electrical installations (including fireproofing), HVAC design reviews, shop and fabrication drawing reviews, as well as filing design change reviews. TRS personnel also provided project control activities including claims analysis, manpower analysis, delay evaluation, project scheduling, document control, progress payments preparation as well as cost tracking.
