Novato Heights Sewer Project

This project provides sewer service to residents within the Novato Heights area. These residents were previously served by individual on-site sewage disposal systems, many of which were failing. The project includes the construction of over 4000 linear feet of 6” gravity sewer line and a 4” sanitary sewer force main. Inspection of this project involves the installation of a sanitary sewer main line and force main within narrow country roadways, most of which were located within steep hilly areas. A portion of the sewer line was installed by directional boring on severe slopes. The sewer main system connected to a twin alternating sewer treatment plant.

TRS provided inspection services of this facility including: the main pump chamber, a valve pit structure, an odor control unit, a stand-by generator, a telemetry control system, electrical and control systems, pump station control panel, a small storm drainage system, as well as metal piping protective coatings.
